Rules
ometv.us Community Guidelines
The short list of rules that keeps one-on-one calls on ometv.us decent for both people.
You must be 18 or older
ometv.us is only for people who are at least 18 years old. If we find that an account belongs to someone younger, we remove it. If you think you're talking with someone under 18, end the call and report them.
Be yourself
Use your own face and your own name. Pretending to be another person — a friend, a public figure, a member of staff — isn't allowed, and neither is showing a pre-recorded video instead of your live camera.
Treat the other person with respect
Every call is one person talking to one person. Harassment, threats, insults, hate aimed at someone's race, religion, gender, orientation or disability, and pressuring someone to do something they've said no to are all against the rules.
Keep the camera clean
No explicit or indecent content on camera or in messages. No violence, self-harm, weapons used to threaten, or illegal drugs.
Keep the conversation here
Don't push people to move to another app, add you on social media, or visit links. Advertising, selling and asking for money or gifts outside ometv.us aren't allowed.
Respect privacy
Don't record, screenshot or share someone else's video without their permission, and don't share anyone's personal details — including your own phone number or address with someone you've just met.
What happens when someone breaks these rules
- Reports are reviewed by people on our team.
- Breaking these rules can get an account removed.
- A removed account can't be registered again, and using a new account to get around a removal leads to that account being removed too.
- If you think your account was removed by mistake, write to us from the email address on the account and we'll look at it again.
How to report
Open the person's profile and choose Report from the menu, then pick the reason that fits. Block is in the same menu. Anything that can't wait — someone in danger — goes to your local emergency services first.
