About ometv.us
One-on-one video chat in your browser, run independently.
What ometv.us does
ometv.us is a video chat for talking with one person at a time. You open it in a browser — on a phone or a computer — and either get matched with someone at random or choose someone from the list of people who are online and call them. There's a message box in every call and a translate button on the other person's messages.
You can start without making a profile. An account comes in when you want to buy coins, follow someone or change your settings.
An independent site
ometv.us is its own website, built and run by its own team. It isn't part of OmeTV, isn't licensed by OmeTV, and has no business relationship with the company that operates OmeTV.
In practice that means the two don't share anything: an OmeTV login doesn't work here, coins bought on one can't be spent on the other, and people you follow here aren't on OmeTV's lists. For anything about an OmeTV account, go to OmeTV directly.
How calls are kept safe
- 18 and over only. Accounts belonging to anyone younger are removed.
- Reports read by people. Report anyone from the menu on their profile; our team reviews each one.
- Blocking that works at once. Blocked people can't reach you; you can undo a block from your block list.
- No recordings, no data sales. Calls aren't recorded, and personal data isn't sold.
The rules everyone agrees to are in the community guidelines.
How it's paid for
Opening ometv.us is free, and new accounts may get some free matches or call time. Calls after that are paid with coins: random matches at a set rate, direct calls at the rate the person you call has chosen. A notice always comes before charging starts.
